Praxium Press offers a relaxed and creative environment where artists, designers and others can learn and experiment with letterpress printing, bookmaking and polaroid transfers through hands-on classes and rental. Guided by artist Berwyn Hung, participants get involved in every aspect of these revitalized art forms, from selecting paper to setting loose type to printing from magnesium plates.

With a 500-year tradition, letterpress isn’t a new technology. What’s new is the approach – at Praxium Press, we’re open to using this traditional printing method in intriguing and surprising ways. At every step, we provide practical and aesthetic direction to help you make the most of the experience. 

Already have a project in mind? Great, you can design your project with us, letterpress or not, or simply rent the letterpress to produce your project. We are on hand to assist as little or as much as you need.
